Andy is (at this time: passively) seeking representation for some of his completed projects. These are not works-in-progress; these are “finished” manuscripts (in the pre-production sense) that could be pitched to a publisher or producer with minimal delay. He is also (passively) seeking representation for individual essays or short stories, as applicable.
Novels
- Spectral Crown: Gothic horror historical queer fantasy (100,000 words). After an encounter with a strange, pale man from a country beyond the horizon, Saelac, his mother, and the other servants of their medieval German royal family are forced to attend a wedding between the two countries. But as the faraway castle locks them in and the pale stranger sets his sights on Saelac, more than a passing of the crown is taking place in this land of shadows. The novel, in its entirety, can be read here.
Screenplays
- The Lost River: Science fiction fantasy horror (120 pages). An accomplished marine biologist, Rachel is more suited than anyone to explore the shadowy recesses of the deep. But when her team is contracted out to explore a strange city beneath the waves, she finds that the creatures down there are more human than fish, and they’re guarding something sinister.
- The Bottomless River: Suburban psychological horror (110 pages). Ever since her sister’s death, Julia’s suffered under the nightly routine that keeps her family safe and her sister’s killer at bay. But when things begin to break down at home, something worse is starting to creep in through the cracks.
Stageplays
- The Specter of Wormwood Hall: Absurdist fantasy comedy (100 pages). A newlywed couple, a realtor and his wife, and the groundskeepers are locked in a mansion with the wise-cracking, nihilist ghost of the former owner. Between interpersonal drama, attempted murder, and bad relationship advice, there’s more than enough nonsense for everyone.
Essays and Short Stories
- Boneyard: Environmental literary nonfiction (5500 words). Working with the movement of water and land, the author explores the length of a dirty creek coursing through their university campus and finds beauty in unexpected places. Even the boneyard has something worth saving.
- Other short stories for representation can be found on Andy’s personal blog.
